The Healthy Weight Nurse will provide an effective and comprehensive weight management intervention to children and their parents / families attending a Manchester school nursery setting or reception aged children who have been identified as requiring support through the National Child Measurement Programme or through GP / school / Health Visitor referrals, ensuring that care is evidenced based and safe levels of intervention are delivered. ### Main duties of the job The new post holder will also be expected work collaboratively with the wider school health team and partner agencies around supporting healthy weight in children and young people as well as meeting our statutory obligations around safeguarding.
