### Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Ophthalmology Department at Worcester Royal Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic, flexible, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team.

The post holder would have a base at Worcester Royal Hospital and be required to work in all areas of the Ophthalmology Department, which would include our local anaesthetic theatre suite, outpatient clinic and day-case unit. As a countywide service delivering Ophthalmic care you will be required to travel between sites on occasions.

### Main duties of the job

Working in the Ophthalmic outpatient clinic you will be involved in assessing visual acuity, checking intraocular pressure and performing diagnostic tests on our patients like OCT, Auto-refraction, Pentacam and Visual Fields.

Working within our Ophthalmic theatre suite you will take part in theatre runner and theatre escort roles as well as assisting in our intravitreal injection theatre.
