An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our Children's Community Nursing Service, working across Hannah House and our Continuing Care & Health Short Breaks Team.

Our service supports children and young people aged 019 years with complex health needs, disabilities, life-limiting conditions and learning disabilities. Hannah House is a specialist 24-hour respite facility providing planned and emergency short-break care, whilst our Continuing Care & Health Short Breaks Team delivers specialist care and respite support within children's own homes across Leeds. Staff work across both settings as part of our integrated service model. We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and resilient individuals who are passionate about working with children and making a positive difference to family life. Previous experience of working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential. Full training, competency support and ongoing development opportunities will be provided. The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and includes a mixture of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Flexible working requests will be considered where possible.

### Main duties of the job
