Healthcare Support Workers work closely with service users, their families, friends, and carers. You will be essential in ensuring those who use our services have a positive experience and work as part of our dedicated multi-disciplinary team comprising Nurses, Healthcare Support Workers, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Specialist Therapists, and Psychiatrists. You will work with other team members to promote independence, by providing effective treatment and skills training within a risk management plan to enable our patients to be discharged into the community, or where needs dictate, onto an appropriate continuing healthcare service. If you are new to healthcare, we will place you on a HCSW induction programme to ensure that you are fully trained and supported to perform the role. The programme will last for up to 6 months and during this period of training you will be paid a salary of 25,272. On completion of your training period your salary will rise to 25,760 as per the advert. At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship for this post.
