Join #TeamNNUH and our amazing Trauma & Orthopaedic team as we recruit for Healthcare Assistants on Cringleford Orthopaedics.

We are looking for Health Care Assistants to join our busy hospital in our Elective Orthopaedic Ward and orthopaedic department. We work closely with our sister units, Ashill and Gateley.

Cringleford Elective Orthopaedics specialises in joint replacements, spinal surgery and some trauma cases, and are proud of our their most recent achievement of GOLD Ward Accreditation which reflects on their commitment to excellent patient care.

### Main duties of the job

This role involves working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team to support patients throughout their orthopaedic journey, as a trauma patient or via the elective pathway. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care under the supervision of registered staff, assisting with personal care, mobility, observations, theatre preparation, post-operative recovery and accurate documentation, while communicating effectively with patients and colleagues.

We are looking for a caring, motivated and reliable individual who enjoys teamwork and takes pride in their work.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer night-only contracts, and night shift requests are limited.

### Skills

**Essential**

- Good numeracy and literacy skills, clear and effective reading and writing in English language

### Experience

**Essential**

- Some previous experience in a nursing/Care Assistant role which can be demonstrated against the requirements of the role.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- City and Guilds NVQ Level 3/ T levels/ A levels in Care/Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification or significant equivalent experience
- Completion of care certificate within 12 weeks of start date
