### Job overview

The post-holder will work across Trafford General Hospital and Withington Community Hospital as part of the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), participating in a rostered shift system including nights and weekends to meet service requirements.

The role involves undertaking a range of sleep diagnostic investigations, working semi-autonomously within defined protocols to perform, analyse, and ensure the quality of sleep studies. The post-holder will identify abnormal findings and escalate where appropriate.

In addition, the post-holder will support the initiation and ongoing management of CPAP therapy, including patient education, data review, and troubleshooting to optimise treatment outcomes. They will contribute to the effective running of the service and support junior staff as required.
