### Main duties of the job

**The Role**

We are looking for caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman in his 50s within his own home on a 2:1 care basis. He is active, sociable, and enjoys spending time in the community as well as taking part in meaningful daily activities.

At home, he enjoys relaxing with Netflix boxsets especially Greys Anatomy, and music is an important part of his daily routine, helping him to relax and unwind.

You will support him with his daily routine, including personal care in the evening, preparing for bed, and ensuring a calm and comfortable night-time environment.

During the night, support may be required, with staff alerted via Alexa/landline. Regular monitoring checks will also be completed in line with his care plan.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person-centred support while helping him maintain independence and enjoy his lifestyle in a safe and supportive home environment.

### Job responsibilities

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
