If you are able to work autonomously, you are motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic then come and join our team of dedicated treatment room nurses. The Treatment Room service currently operates from Monday to Friday excluding weekends and bank holidays. We are an appointment only service between the hours of 08.30 and 16.30 however we do hold 2 late evening clinics (up to 8pm) and one early clinic (8am start) once a week. Applicants must be willing to work flexibly over 5 days, be able to work well within a team and on their own initiative. ### Main duties of the job - Provide a high standard of clinical and nursing care within the treatment room setting, including nurse-led services. - Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care; undertake extended roles appropriate to treatment room services. - Provide care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, perform post-operative wound care, remove sutures and clips, assist with lower limb assessments, compression bandaging and ear irrigation. - Participate in a range of clinical and service audits within treatment room and comply with all policies and protocols relating to treatment room. - Assist in delivering objectives set out within the Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust business plan.
