We are looking for a Health Care Support worker, who is friendly and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to provide support to the clinical team. This is a permanent position, which will predominantly be based within the community sexual health clinic at Newcastle Sexual Health Service in Summerhill. However, there may be times when the employee would need to work at Gateshead Trinity Square Health Centre and Palmers Community Hospital in Jarrow and outreach clinical locations. We are a friendly, community based, multi-disciplinary team. We are committed to delivering high quality, integrated sexual health care for the local population, our service includes both contraceptive and genito-urinary medicine. The post-holder must be able to maintain a sensitive and non-judgemental approach to support patients with their sexual health needs. ### Main duties of the job The sexual health service is part of the community directorate within South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation Trust.
