Ward 37 is a busy and dynamic environment that specialises in Cardiology, but also cares for a broad range of patients. While many of our patients are admitted with acute cardiac conditions requiring cardiac monitoring, we also care for medical outlying patients from other specialises and patients requiring enhanced care. You will be joining a friendly, supportive team dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care, with a strong focus on compassionate care, teamwork and professional development. ### Main duties of the job As a Lab Coordinator, your role will include: - Prepare patients for the Cath labs, ensuring they are ready and informed. - Safely transporting patients to and from the Cath Lab with both porters and lab staff. - Facilitate effective communication between the Cath Lab team and ward nurses to ensure continuity of care. - Monitor and record post-procedural observations and report any concerns promptly. - Assis with documentation and support the clinical team in delivering patient-centred care.
