This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial period of six months, with the possibility of extension depending on progress with recruitment to the permanent post. ### Main duties of the job Reporting to the health unit chief executive, with professional accountability to the chief medical officer, the post holder is responsible for leading the transformation of the health unit to deliver high quality and efficient clinical care in support of the Royal Free London (RFL)’s governing objectives and the RFL clinical strategy.  The medical director provides professional leadership to the medical staff in the health unit.
