The post holder will support Registered Nurses and other health care professionals in the assessment, treatment and management of patients presenting in primary care settings. The post holder will work as part of the nursing team within standard operating procedures, with Registered Nurses being available for reference. The post holder will assist with specified delegated clinical tasks which include the provision of diagnostic spirometry testing and monitoring of Chronic Disease management providing a caring, patient focused service at all times. The post holder will deal with queries from patients, Health Care professionals and other agencies face to face and by telephone.  The role will also involve administration and clerical duties including updating patient records on the computer system. The role will involve working within a variety of community and primary care settings across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (as appropriate to the needs of the service).
