The role within Ophthalmology  is an area where you can learn a variety of new specialised skills to support our patients.

The HCSW role within Ophthalmology will involve care of  patients whilst they attend ophthalmology outpatients, eye casualty, day case and theatres.

The role supports the multidisciplinary team by obtaining a variety of ophthalmology specialised observations , patient observations, whilst supporting the through put of patients in a variety of areas.

it is essential the candidate has access to a car as we work off site in the community hospital settings - Leominster, Bromyard and Ross.

- Willingness to undertake the Maths and English Functional Skills qualifications
- Diploma level 2/3 in Health & Social Care
- Care certificate

### Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of personal care and related procedures
