### Job summary

St John and St Elizabeth Hospital is delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to an experienced strategic HR Professional to join the HR Team on a fixed-term basis to cover a period of maternity leave. You will support the Director of People in delivering the Hospitals strategic goals, values and overall aim of putting people first. With the support of the Director of People, you will deliver an excellent employee relations service, enabling and supporting other HR duties and functions including but not limited to reports for the Executive Management Board, employee relations, training, projects, recruitment and retention in line with the Hospitals strategic goals, values and our overall aim of Putting People First.

You will support the health and wellbeing of staff, to ensure that organisational change is dealt with in a timely and effective manner, provide support and advice to Heads of Department, line managers and members of the senior leadership team.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- First Degree or equivalent level of experience
- Member of the CIPD
- Experience of working in a health or related environment
- Track record of building effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Track record of delivering effective HR interventions at a senior level
- Track record of delivery of high standards of quality against conflicting objectives and to agreed timescales
- Experience of dealing with complex employee relations and overseeing case management
- Understanding of People related policies and their development.
