Our speciality is renal. We are currently recruiting for Band 3 Health Care Assistants to help maintain our high standard of care. You must be able to cope in a busy and dynamic clinic environment, working alongside nursing and medical staff, to help with patient flow. The Healthcare Assistant role provides an exciting opportunity to learn extended skills such as venepuncture, cannulation, APD, CAPD and much more. It is a fast paced clinical area, with great learning opportunities, two days are never the same. No sponsorship is available for this role. ### Main duties of the job The Health Care Assistant will function as part of the nursing and wider multi-disciplinary team to provide a seamless service & high quality care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurses. The HCA is expected to undertake care to meet the needs of the patients , working within the Trust's policies and procedures, working collaboratively as part of the ward team. It is expected that the Health Care Assistant will continue to develop their own capabilities and knowledge of nursing tasks in line with the Trust’s career pathway.
