### Purpose of the Post:

- To support the regional development and implementation of rights-based, person-centered and community-based Disability Home Support arrangements, that promote dignity, autonomy, will and preference, inclusion, safeguarding, quality and accountability.

- To support the regional readiness, implementation and the on-going administration/ co-ordination of the new Disability Home Support Authorisation Scheme, in association with disability teams within the IHAs and CHAs

- To support the Authorisation Scheme’s data collection, analysis, reporting, process and administrative requirements, to improve consistency, quality, and equity of access, integration and outcomes for people with disabilities.

- To support the HSE Home Support Reform Programme and the roll out of new Home Support service development initiatives and/or new requirements across the region, working in an integrated manner with regional implementation groups, local disability teams and colleagues in Older Persons and Mental Health Home Support services.
