### Job summary

Temple Cowley Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic and committed General Practitioner to join our friendly, highperforming practice in East Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity to work up to six sessions per week in a supportive, wellorganised environment where highquality patient care, teamwork and professional development are central to how we work. We welcome applications for both Salaried and Partnership roles. You will join a multiprofessional clinical team and contribute to delivering compassionate, effective care to our diverse patient population. ### Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide highquality clinical care to patients across a broad range of presentations, working closely with our multidisciplinary team. Duties include consulting with patients, managing acute and longterm conditions, supporting continuity of care, contributing to clinical governance, and participating in practice meetings and wider PCN activity. You will also play an active role in supporting trainees and working collaboratively with colleagues across our Acute Hub, Enhanced Access services and joint Clinical Pharmacy provision.

Our team includes GPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, a mental health nurse, a paramedic and a dedicated reception and administrative workforce. We are part of the South East Oxford Health Alliance PCN, working closely with neighbouring practices to deliver innovative services including an Acute Hub and Enhanced Access appointments. ### Job responsibilities

Role Summary

The post holder will provide high quality, patient centred clinical care within a supportive, well organised practice. Working as part of a multi-professional team, the GP will contribute to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to a diverse population in East Oxford.

Clinical Responsibilities

- Provide consultations for acute, urgent and long term conditions.
- Undertake clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in EMIS Web.
- Support continuity of care and proactive management of vulnerable patients.
- Participate in duty doctor sessions as required.
- Provide clinical input into practice meetings, MDT discussions and PCN activities.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, significant event review and quality improvement.
- Prescribe in accordance with local and national guidance.
- Work collaboratively with practice nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, mental health practitioners and paramedic colleagues.

Teaching & Training

- Support Foundation Year 2 doctors and other learners within the practice.
- Contribute to a positive teaching environment with high quality supervision and feedback.

PCN Responsibilities

- Engage with South East Oxford Health Alliance (SEOxHA) initiatives, including the Acute Hub, Enhanced Access appointments and joint Clinical Pharmacy services.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Fully qualified General Practitioner with MRCGP (or equivalent).
- GMC registration with no restrictions.
- Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
- Evidence of ongoing CPD and annual appraisal
