About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, supportive and well-established GP practice in Hawick, in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders. This is a fantastic chance to enjoy a rewarding clinical role with an excellent work-life balance, living and working in an area known for its outstanding countryside, walking, cycling, fishing and horse riding, while remaining within easy reach of Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle. We are looking to appoint either a GP Partner or Salaried GP, with flexibility for the right candidate.

What we can offer

- - 6 – 8 sessions per week available
- - Salaried GP: £9,000 – £13,000 per session per year, depending on experience
- - 8 weeks’ annual leave, including study leave and public holidays
- - Golden hello available, if eligible

- - High-earning practice with a favourable partner-to-patient ratio
- - Supportive training practice with undergraduate and postgraduate involvement
- - Practice population of over 11,900 patients
- - Community hospital on site/in close proximity
- - Average GP day of 24 x 15-minute appointments
- - Minimal house visits
- - Excellent multidisciplinary support, including ANPs, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, FCP and CTAC team
- - No out-of-hours commitment, although local sessions are available if desired
- - Approximately one hour from Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle.
