## Job Content

### Job overview

Would you like to make a difference to people’s lives, working as part of a welcoming and supportive team in the Hospital setting?

We are looking for an individual who is kind and compassionate, with excellent communication and problem solving skills, to join our Inpatient Orthopaedic Therapy Team. Within this role you will form a crucial part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, delivering a high standard of care to a wide range of Orthopaedic Inpatients.

You will work closely with patients and their families and also with Therapy and Nursing colleagues within the team, making a valuable contribution to the recovery and rehabilitation of a variety of Orthopaedic patients. We are looking for candidates with the ability to motivate individuals to aid their recovery, and to maximise their independence in order to achieve the goals that matter to them.

### Main duties of the job

You will undertake a wide variety of duties delegated by the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams. You will be responsible for providing person centred care to a range of Orthopaedic Inpatients, encouraging and helping them to achieve their goals on their rehabilitation journey.

We provide a 7 day service, and therefore weekend working is a requirement of the role.

If you would enjoy working closely with patients during their Hospital admission and would like to join a friendly and supportive team then we would love to hear from you!
