The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering the highest-quality clinical care to patients across West Wales, with a focus on providing treatment as close to home as possible. This is a senior clinical role, where you will lead by example, offer supervision, training and support to colleagues, and help maintain a safe, effective and collaborative working environment. You’ll be part of a growing team focused on developing a robust, responsive and forward-thinking urgent care service for the population of West Wales. ### Main duties of the job You will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with urgent and complex needs, either virtually or face-to-face, ensuring care is delivered safely and effectively. Strong clinical judgement and clear communication are essential, alongside a commitment to evidence-based practice, audit and safeguarding. The role encompasses more than delivering igh-quality patient care. It requires confident clinical leadership, sound decision-making, and the ability to support and guide colleagues in real time. As the senior clinician on shift, you will be instrumental in maintaining clinical standards, fostering teamwork, and ensuring the service runs safely and effectively.
