Are you looking for a rewarding GP role within a supportive, forward-thinking practice? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Practitioner to join our friendly and experienced team.

Ideally, we are looking to recruit a GP for 6–8 sessions per week, either as a Salaried GP or GP Partner. However, we recognise the importance of flexibility and would be happy to consider applications from candidates seeking fewer sessions, with the possibility of appointing more than one GP.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established practice serving a diverse patient population, with flexibility to tailor the role to the successful candidate's experience and career aspirations.

About Us

We are a busy and welcoming practice committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. Our clinical team includes experienced GPs, Emergency Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists and an excellent administration and management team. We are a teaching practice and welcome ST1 and St3 trainees.

The practice has recently entered an exciting new phase, having successfully taken over a neighbouring practice, expanding our patient population and creating opportunities for service development. We have also welcomed several new clinicians to the team and continue to invest in building a sustainable and supportive working environment for both staff and patients.

We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment where innovation, professional development and work-life balance are valued.

The Role

We are looking for a GP who:

- Is committed to delivering high-quality primary care.
- Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is enthusiastic about contributing to the continued development of the practice.

The role offers:

- 6–8 sessions per week.
- Competitive remuneration.
- Opportunities for leadership, service development and teaching interests.
- Strong administrative and clinical support.
- Paid medical defence
- Generous annual leave and study leave

Location

Located in the beautiful Scottish Borders, the area offers an excellent quality of life, affordable housing, outstanding outdoor pursuits and easy access to Edinburgh and the wider region.

We warmly welcome informal discussions and practice visits from interested candidates.
