Your responsibilities will include: Running health promotion and well-person clinics. Delivering childhood and adult immunisation programmes. Providing travel health advice and vaccinations. Supporting patients with lifestyle changes including smoking cessation, weight management, exercise, and alcohol awareness. Performing cervical cytology screening. Venepuncture and specimen management. Wound care, dressings, suture removal, and injections. Ear irrigation and ECG recording. Managing minor illness presentations within your competence. Supporting minor surgery clinics where required. Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records in line with NMC standards. Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits. Supporting infection prevention and control standards across the organisation. Identifying and appropriately escalating safeguarding concerns. Independent prescribing responsibilities may be included for suitably qualified candidates.
