### Job summary

The post holder will be required to perform a range of ophthalmology appointments on patients referred to CHEC and provide supervision of the provision of adult community ophthalmology services delivered by healthcare professionals, working in accordance with CHEC treatment protocols and working practices.

### Main duties of the job

Day to day, the post holder will deliver high quality clinical care to patients attending the community ophthalmology service in the following areas: General Ophthalmology Glaucoma services AMD Laser treatment Minor eye Operations High volume phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia if applicable

To be successful in this role To continue with our support for the NHS, we are looking for experienced general ophthalmologists of all grades to undertake consultation clinics and/or ophthalmic surgeries across the range of services we offer.
