### Fixed Term Band 6 Occupational Therapist, Turriff Community Hospital, Priority Response and Community Rehabilitation

### Part time 30.0 hours per week. (Fixed Term until end of March 2027)

An interesting and challenging opportunity has arisen based at Turriff Community Hospital

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to be based at Turriff Community Hospital on a fixed term basis. This post is within a well-established Multi-Disciplinary Team. The post holder will provide full assessment and treatment programmes for hospital patients and provide a Priority Response to prevent hospital admission where possible or to support a discharge. There may also be the opportunity to provide community rehabilitation. There is a wide variety of conditions and complex needs in the patient population. Multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working is essential for seamless community care and the occupational therapist is a vital part of this.

The post holder will require excellent communication and organisational skills.

Supervision and allocation of work to a Band 4 OT support worker is an integral part of the job, as is service development within the Area and the Health and Social Care Partnership Teams.

Experience in caseload management and physical rehabilitation in the community is desirable, along with a valid UK driving licence and a car available for business use.

We offer regular support, supervision, CPD and development opportunities in line with KSF.

'There will be an expectation to provide services over 7 days, including weekends, public holidays and extended hours, where required, to meet the need of services'

Informal enquiries to Ashlie Munro Team Lead 01358 725544 ashlie.munro@nhs.scot or Vicky Locke, Lead Occupational Therapist on victoria.locke@nhs.scot

Interviews will be held on 12th October 2026
