### Job summary

The First Responder Department is recruiting an organised, proactive, and highly professional administrator to support various high profiled campaigns and day to day administration activities. This position offers an experienced administrator the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and contribute to improved patient outcomes across London.

The role is based primarily at Waterloo Headquarters for three days per week and involves close collaboration with managers, staff, and volunteers delivering community response services. The administrator will support departmental campaigns, including Volunteer Strategy, London Lifesavers, and Heartstarters. Occasional travel to other London Ambulance Service sites may be required to support meetings, events, and operational activities.

### Main duties of the job

The First Responder Department Administrator provides administrative support to ensure the efficient daily operation of a busy and dynamic service. Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing agendas, minutes, reports and correspondence
- Maintaining records, databases and departmental information systems
- Processing leave, sickness and other administrative returns
- Organising meetings, venues and events
- Managing departmental email inboxes and correspondence
- Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
- Supporting projects and responding to ad-hoc requests from managers
- Coordinating uniform and equipment orders
- Supporting Associate/Community Resuscitation Trainers
- Supporting department campaigns
- Building effective relationships with staff, volunteers and external partners
