It is essential in ensuring management controls are communicated through fire safety training, working closely with the Trusts fire safety trainer. This role will be responsible for implementing adequate local fire safety controls via the risk assessment process. Working with the Estates and Facilities Quality Manager, the role will devise a prioritisation list of minor new work actions or capital investment requests, enabling the Trust to prioritise works on a “risk to fire safety” basis. This role will have a professional input to fire safety training contracts and external fire risk assessment processes, ensuring the Trust is meeting its legal obligations whilst undertaking a value for money exercise. This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.
