### Job overview

Ensure that all control account reconciliations are completed accurately and on a timely basis, and to liaise with colleagues both internally and externally to resolve any outstanding control account issues. Ensure the accurate and timely input of all invoice records into the Accounts Receivable / Payable system as they arrive into the Finance Department. Ensure all invoices are raised / distributed in a timely manner to support efficient processing and to act as a point of contact for all external debtor/creditor queries to ensure the swift escalation of such queries.

The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Competent in the use of Excel and Word Microsoft applications

**Desirable**

- Experience of using Computerised General Ledger system i.e. Oracle

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Mathematics
- Successfully working towards / achieved Intermediate level of AAT

**Desirable**

- Association of Accounting Technician finalist / qualified
- ECDL

### Knowledge and Expertise

**Essential**

- Knowledge of accounts payable computer system
- Working knowledge of control accounts
- Track record of performance in delivering against tight deadlines

**Desirable**

- Experience of working in a Finance environment
