To provide support to the Finance Business Partner in the provision of a comprehensive advice and support service to a range of budget holders. Key responsibilities will include the supervision of a small section of staff dealing with the maintenance of budgetary control information systems.

The post holder may be required to rotate within clinical or corporate financial management areas as appropriate.

Additional contract details: Fixed Term Contract ending 31st March, 2027

### Experience

- Analysis and interpretation of large volumes of data.
- Have good numeracy skills. Be able to analyse and draw conclusions from large volumes of data.

**Desirable**

- Have a working knowledge of the key elements of the NHS Finance regime, ideally with experience in an NHS organisation
- Experience working in a financial or operational management environment, preferably within the NHS
- Have a working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and other financial systems

### Qualifications

**Desirable**

- Possess professional accountancy qualification equivalent to Association of Accounting Technicians Member level (MAAT) or have an equivalent level of financial or operational management experience
- Studying towards a full Consultancy Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) accountancy qualification
- Evidence of continuing professional and personal development
