### Job summary

The Finance Business Partner will support the Senior Finance Business Partner in delivering the financial strategy and key financial goals of the clinical divisions through the provision of high-quality Service Line Reporting, financial management and control, planning, advice and support. This involves strategic, organisational and operational discussion, analysis and reporting to enable the efficient and effective use of resources to support the delivery of optimised improved patient care.

As an indirect member of the clinical divisions, support the development and delivery of the clinical and operational strategy.

### Main duties of the job

Provide expert, specialist and in-depth business and financial managementinformation and advice to clinical divisions to support delivery of financial targets.Lead the divisional reporting of income, expenditure, CIPs and other KPI's in line withagreed timescales to support delivery of financial and operational plans.Lead on a range of processes to promote consistency, continuous improvement andbest practice across the management accounting teams; to include budget setting,reporting, safer staffing establishments, medical workforce, budget clinics andbenchmarking.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Post qualification experience working at a senior level, with a professional reputation built on track record of career development through delivery.
- Track record of delivery of effective, efficient, and relevant financial advice to non-finance colleagues at all levels.
- Experience of leading a high performing, patient, or customer focused team, with emphasise on providing relevant support to delivery of challenging financial targets.
- Experience of dealing with a diverse range of issues across multiple complex stakeholderenvironments.
- Experience of developing plans, forecasts andsupporting delivery of financial targets.
- Experience of working with senior divisionalleadership team.
- Good knowledge of financial & other dutiesplaced on NHS organisations.

**Desirable**

- Experience of workingwithin a health or clinicalorganisation or system.

### Qualifications
