Emotional and Behavioural Team and WAMHS (Wellbeing and Mental Health in Schools Team) Band 7 Full-time, 1.0wte (0.80wte E&B & 0.20wte WAMHS) - hours. 12 months fixed term post We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with CAMHS experience to come and work in the socially and culturally diverse borough of City and Hackney. Applicants who have experience and appreciation of some of the richness and complexities of working inter-culturally are welcomed. This post is part of a comprehensive Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service, within the East London NHS Foundation Trust and as part of the wider Hackney CAMHS Alliance. This post will include the provision of specialist CAMHS advice/consultation and mental health assessment, family interventions and liaison with other agencies, and the opportunity to supervise other clinicians. ### Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be part of a stimulating and supportive multidisciplinary child and adolescent mental health team. There is a strong commitment to clinical supervision and professional development within CAMHS and the wider NHS Foundation Trust including many learning and teaching opportunities. The post will involve working within the Emotional and Behavioural pathway team. This role will include a WAMHS role (Wellbeing and Mental health in Schools), working in a secondary school one day a week. The role may also include an opportunity of group work. The role will be varied and will include managing a caseload within the multi-disciplinary E&B Team in order to provide brief treatment for often co-occurring emotional and behavioural difficulties. The team values consultation, liaison with professional networks and formulation within a systemic and community context. This is a community-based post, located within the Emotional & Behavioural Team in City and Hackney Specialist CAMHS offering episodes of care, assessments and treatments to a wide variety of clinical presentations. The post holder will also provide a school consultation role via a CAMHS Worker In Schools role (CWIS) for 3 sessions. The post holder will directly contribute to the positive working environment within the multi-disciplinary team.
