This is a part-time position averaging 22.5 hours per week on a fortnightly working pattern.  Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday early shift for 7.5 hours per day, 30 hours in week 1. Week 2: Thursday, Friday early shift for 7.5 hours per day, 15 hours in week 2. If you are approachable, flexible, able to work unsupervised, are reliable and if you want to make a positive difference to the experience of people in our care, then this could be the perfect role for you. ### Main duties of the job We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards of environmental cleaning and prepare meals for service. We are looking for people who recognise the importance of a clean environment and food safety, as well as the importance of adherence to infection prevention and control standards at all times. To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: - vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture/fittings, cleaning of mirrors and internal glass, sanitary ware, e.g. baths, showers, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, high dusting of walls and ceilings, floor cleaning etc.. In addition the role will require some food handling to support the provision of a meal service for patients in our care.
