The opportunity

We are recruiting for two Evaluation, Research, and Insight Officers to join our team in Practitioner Performance Advice.

Full time (37.5 hours per week) maternity cover, fixed term contract for 13 months

0.6 full time equivalent (22.5 hours per week), permanent contract

### Main duties of the job

You will be working with a range of senior specialists across the Advice service and external stakeholders including health care organisations and national bodies.

The post holder will support a number of work areas, which may include but are not limited to:

- Evaluation and research Insights publications
- The Advice services equality, diversity and inclusion agenda in respect of our service users
- Policy, guidance and systems
- Other key innovation and development activities with the Advice service.

You will be experienced in delivering high quality analysis and reports that have contributed to improved knowledge and the improvement of services and have worked in a similar role in, for example, the research, health, charity, or public sector.

- Excellent written communication skills, including experience of reviewing complex and sensitive documents (e.g. letters and reports) to a high standard, and presenting information clearly and concisely to a wide range of internal and external groups

**Essential**

- Experience of organising complex project management and programme activities
- Experience of developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of coping well when under pressure from competing priorities, unpredictable requests and frequent interruptions

**Desirable**

- Ability to/experience of delivering training for new ways of working to users
- Experience of tendering services within the NHS
- Experience of facilitating and presenting to groups of people and leading focus groups

- Experience of regularly working with data
