A permanent vacancy has arisen within the Estates & Facilities Directorate for an experienced building maintenance Painter & Decorator to join the Barts Heath NHS Trust. The job is based at Whipps Cross Hospital but may be required to work at other hospitals and health care premises within Barts Health NHS Trust. ### Main duties of the job - Duties cover a range of painting & decorating maintenance work including planned and breakdown maintenance, servicing, and repair of buildings and fixtures work across the hospital estate. - Key Responsibilities of the post will include undertaking a range of repairs and core building maintenance duties and associated works for the Trust. To maintain building services and equipment at the hospital whilst at all times observing all relevant Health and Safety guidelines and Regulations. - The basic working week is 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday 08:30 to 16:30. You must however, have the ability and willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and call outs as workload demands, for which additional payment is made.
