We are seeking to recruit a Theatre Equipment Manager to support running of the operating theatres on the hospital site. St Bartholomew’s Hospital provides cardiac, thoracic, breast and other cancer-based surgery. We have recently opened a new Breast Cancer Centre, expanding our operating theatres on the hospital site. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, proactive and well organised with a strong sense of patient care. The ability to multitask and work under pressure in what can often be a busy environment is essential. It will be vital that this individual can work closely with a multi-disciplinary team but also work autonomously to deliver technical support to the Theatre and wider team. The post holder will be required to work in a clinical setting within theatres and will be line manager by the Theatres Matron with a reporting line to the Service Manager. Candidates should have expertise with equipment management in a peri-operative or similar area, experience liaising with industry suppliers and understanding of procurement process.
