### Main duties of the job

Conducting outpatient clinics to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with ENT conditions.

Performing daily ward rounds and providing care for inpatients under the supervision of ENT consultants.

Participating in the on-call rota  covering weekday and weekend day shifts, including emergency ENT clinics and A&E referrals.

Attending and supporting emergency and elective operating theatre lists, including managing emergency surgical cases.

Carrying out all relevant clinical administration related to patient care, clinics, and theatre activities.

Contributing to departmental activities such as clinical audit, research projects, morbidity and mortality meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and formal teaching sessions.

Providing supervision and support to junior medical staff and contributing to their training and development.

Working flexibly across the department to meet service demands and support the reduction of patient waiting times, particularly for Head and Neck cancer patients.

Complying with Trust policies on clinical governance, health and safety, and risk management to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
