The post will have an out of hours commitment on the registrar on call rota at the John Radcliffe Hospital. The appointment is Full Time only. Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to appoint a Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Fellow. This is a fixed term post for a duration of 12 months. The post holder should be post CCT. They must have experience of working within the NHS and be able to demonstrate a good command of the English language. The post holder is expected to attend the Head and Neck MDT on a regular basis, and run the head and neck fast track neck lump service ### Clinical The post holder will gain specialist training in head and neck oncology ENT elective and emergency care, with a general out of hours on call commitment of 1 in 9. They will provide a specialist head and neck ENT service at secondary care level including leading the ward round, assessment of 2ww patients, investigation of potential malignancy, presentation and assessment at MDT, and major resection of head and neck malignancy. They will participate in an emergency service cover out of hours at registrar level. ### Teaching/Research Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a teaching hospital trust, and the post-holder will be required to participate in programmes for teaching clinical students, training junior doctors and in clinical examinations.
