Care at Home Support Worker. 17.5 hours per week. Evening shifts.

Are you looking for meaningful evening work that fits around your daytime commitments and makes a real difference?

This 17.5 hour post is worked as evening shifts, supporting older adults in their own homes at a key time of day. It is an ideal opportunity if you are looking for part time hours, returning to work, or want a role that works alongside other commitments.

You will deliver assessed care and support packages that help people remain safe, well and independent in their own homes and communities. This is rewarding, hands on work where your support has an immediate and positive impact.

Some experience in a caring role is desirable, however this is not essential. Full training, shadowing and ongoing support will be provided, so if you have the right values and a genuine desire to help people, we will support you to develop the skills you need.

There are opportunities to gain SVQ qualifications and build a career in health and social care.

We offer an excellent work life balance with a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern. Enhancements are paid for working nights and weekends. NHS Highland offers excellent terms and conditions including 28 days paid annual leave pro rata, access to the NHS pension scheme, and a wide range of staff benefits.

If you are caring, reliable and want evening work that truly matters, we would love to hear from you.
