An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the EMRI team as the EMRI Hub Lead for the East Yorkshire area. We’ve developed our work programme and priorities based on what the research community and local communities have told us, aiming to make research more accessible and open. Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) are proud to host the EMRI Network. Previously hosted by the National Institute for Health and Care (NIHR) Yorkshire and Humber Research Delivery Network (RDN), EMRI is a regional initiative dedicated to improving the inclusivity of research across our communities. Its mission is to ensure that people from all backgrounds, particularly those historically under-represented, have better opportunities to participate in, shape, and benefit from health and care research. ### Main duties of the job - The EMRI Hub Leads are the EMRI Network’s local contacts around the region, covering the 3 ICB areas of Yorkshire (South, East and West Yorkshire). They will act as the "Go-To" contacts for those who: - Have a question about clinical research - Would like to promote clinical research in their local community - Would like someone to come and speak to their community about clinical research - Would like to get involved in planning clinical research relevant to a community - Are interested in participating in clinical research - Are interested in accessing the EMRI workstreams (e.g. Cultural Competency training, Languages and Dialects group and Reverse Mentoring). - Would like to ensure their grant applications are inclusive and/or wish to include EMRI services within their project.
