An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and focused individual to join the Employee Relations Team.

The post holder will provide a highly professional and customer focused administration service in support of the work of the Employee Relations team and the wider Workforce Directorate as required.    They will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Employee Relations department administration including providing advice on a range of ER policies and employment terms and conditions to managers and staff across the Trust.

The ideal candidate will have a people-centered approach and experience of working within a busy team with values that are aligned with the Trust’s core values.

We are looking to recruit for the following post:

Employee Relations Administrator – 30 hours per week (Band 4) Permanent.

The Employee Relations Administrator will provide a highly professional and customer focused administration service in support of the work of the Employee Relations team and the wider Workforce Directorate as required.

The post holder will act as first point of contact via email and Teams/telephone for users of the employee relations department, communicating and relaying messages as required and maintaining good working relationships with Trust staff and external contacts.

### Main duties of the job

Key Results Areas:

- Provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the Employee Relations team and wider Workforce Directorate as required.
- Actively manage administrative processes including meetings, room bookings, room set up, and the timely preparation and circulation of agendas, minutes and papers.
- To be responsible for the co-ordinating of hearing panels and to produce accurate information packs for hearings and other formal meetings and arrange for distribution to hearing managers, complainants and respondents.
- To liaise with Trust lawyers and assist with the production and collation of information required for the Trust’s response to Employment Tribunal claims.
- To manage and record HR forms either in electronic or paper format i.e. EC1s, exit questionnaires, information requests, policies.
- To provide advice on a range of ER policies and employment terms and conditions to managers and staff across the Trust, referring to more senior staff where necessary.
- To extract information from ESR and other systems to produce high quality, accurate and timely reports on a regular basis and as requested, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

- Experience of working as an administrator in a busy office environment
- Working in a busy environment with tigh deadlines
- Advanced skills in Excel, Outlook and Word

**Desirable**

- Previous NHS experience
