Main duties of the job There may be a requirement for the post holder to work within all areas of the Emergency Department. This includes Majors, Minors, Resuscitation room (paediatric area also included if suitably experienced), undertaking primary and secondary assessments alongside medical colleagues and providing support and guidance to nursing and medical staff in the management of the patients within the Emergency Department. Depending on the registered nurse of Allied Healthcare Professional background and experience (and departmental requirements) the initial focus will likely be on minor injury and illness unless this has already been achieved.
