This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in both a training and digital healthcare role to support our Electronic Health Record (Epic) system. We are looking for a skilled, experienced and enthusiastic trainers to join our innovative Epic Training & Adoption team.

### Main duties of the job

UCLH will be implementing the Cheers module in Epic and require a Senior Credential Trainer to lead the training for this and support the wider teams that will be using this functionality.  As a Senior Credential trainer, you will deliver Epic training to staff across all professions. A good understanding of key clinical workflows and terminology is therefore required, with clinical experience desirable. You will assist on the design and delivery of allocated Epic training courses; assist with quality improvement projects relating to Epic design and implementation; work closely with specialist leads and educators, and be part of the Epic super-user community.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic team members who can adapt to this fast-paced and broad role. Applicants will require strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and adjust priorities quickly to the rapidly changing needs of a large teaching hospital.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience in designing and delivering clinical systems training.
- Previous NHS or Healthcare experience.
- Previous experience of working within a complex, change-driven environment.

### Skills and Abilities

**Essential**

- Resilient approach, flexible attitude to work
- Ability to work with and through others
- Sound organisational skills: the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a high pressure and very challenging environment while maintaining delivery of quality outputs to tight deadlines
- Proficiency in standard computer packages such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

### Knowledge and Qualifications.

**Essential**

- General education to degree level, equivalent professional qualifications or experience.
- Excellent operational knowledge of specific clinical areas including relevant operational policies and procedures.
- Have been assessed at, or be willing to work towards, the standard of training delivery expected of an EPIC Credentialed Trainer.
- Ability to understand the requirements to work effectively within a demanding project and programme environment.
