This role ensures the safe, effective, and financially sustainable lifecycle management of all medical devices and laboratory instrumentation, from procurement and commissioning through to maintenance, governance, risk management, and disposal. The post‑holder is the Trust’s senior expert for medical device safety, regulation, and engineering governance, leading a multi‑disciplinary workforce and overseeing a large, complex asset base.
