We are looking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Services Team located at Royal Oldham Hospital

We are recruiting for 15hrs (Monday - Friday - 17.00 - 20:00)

The successful post holder will be part of a team working within our Estates & Facilities department, offering a high quality, flexible and customer focused service. The  Domestic Services Helpdesk Operator is an important member of the team who helps provide a range of duties across the hospital in a professional manner.

### Main duties of the job

- Your main duties will be to operate the Trust wide Domestic Helpdesk,
- You will also be required to provide secretarial service to Domestic Operations Managers including undertaking all general clerical duties within the department, including word processing of correspondence, reports, forms etc.
- Ensure all staff are invited to attend mandatory training, keeping        records, and formulating databases/spreadsheets using Microsoft Access/Excel
- Dealing with telephone enquiries from internal staff, outside agencies and members of the public.

### Skills

**Desirable**

- Can demonstrate good levels of computer literacy

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Demonstrate an understanding of the Helpdesk / Administrator role within a healthcare setting

**Desirable**

- Demonstrates knowledge of infection control, Health and Safety and COSHH policies

### Experience

**Desirable**

- Previous Domestic Experience with the hospital /care setting
- Experience working in a Office environment or Administration experience

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Level 1 functional skills in English, Maths and IT

**Desirable**

- NVQ Level 1 in cleaning or equivalent
