### Job summary

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Domestic Assistants to join our Facilities team at Pinderfields Hospital. As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, these roles are crucial in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

We have multiple part-time positions available, with shifts across weekdays and weekends. If you are passionate about cleanliness, infection prevention, and making a difference in the healthcare setting, wed love to hear from you.

### Main duties of the job

Not limited to and dependent on working location:-

- Mopping, scrubbing, buffing of floors, shampooing of carpets, vacuuming
- Damp dusting fixtures and fittings
- Cleaning of sanitary areas (toilets and bathrooms)
- Cleaning of ward kitchens and kitchen equipment
- Assist with the service of meals to patients, i.e., serving beverages and collecting in dirty crockery after meals
- Washing up of jugs
- Disposal and segregation of refuse Removal of dirty linen to disposal room
- Changing of beds and cubicle curtains in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines and procedures
- Bed making in residences
- Cleaning of rooms/bed areas following an outbreak of infection
