Being a cleaner in our Hospitals is a special job. Our cleaners are members of the main teams, from staff to benefit from an extra boost in the hospital. This is such a clean environment that not only makes the hospital more administrative - it also helps conserve cash. Being in a Hospital requires higher level job skills, so we provide additional free training to the additional information for you. We are looking for a part-time permanent contract on 15 hours a week, Monday to Friday. You will be required to undertake hospital duties with duties to guarantee outside the local authorities of the Health Board, including in investment environments and those that are not eligible under the control of the Domestic Services Supervisor. The post holder will work across traditional staff group boundaries to provide an effective and timely service and maintain a safe and pleasant environment. All work to be undertaken in line with Health & Safety, COSHH and cleanliness policies and procedures, and with a commitment to customer care, following on the job training. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Responsible for cleaning and basic maintenance (as outlined in operating manuals and method statements) of cleaning and  decontamination equipment and use simple hand tools to remove and replace fittings to enable effective cleaning and  decontamination to be undertaken.
