An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Diversional Activity Coordinator to join our Therapies Team at Silverwood in Chertsey.  We are a fully integrated therapy team, and you will be working with people being treated on our 4 Working Age Adult Wards.

As a Diversional Activities Coordinator within the Therapies Team, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for people who use our services.

Your role supports the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care that positively contributes to each individual's recovery journey.

This role involves planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to individual needs and interests to support and enhance psychological, spiritual, social, and emotional well-being.

You will be working in an organisation that fosters an inclusive culture, where we will treat each other with compassion and kindness. You will be able to grow your career here and we have dedicated pathways to enable you to do this. We will support your personal and professional growth through our extensive training opportunities.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Significant experience in a patient facing role within health care role
- Experience of working within a team
- Experience in facilitating groups and individual activities

**Desirable**

- Experience of working within adult mental health setting

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Level 3 qualifcation in health and social care or related topic
- Level 2 qualification in health and social care or related topic plus demonstrable experience in a paid care role or proven experience in a paid care role
