### Job summary

The Digital Support Technician is responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing the Trust's endpoint infrastructure, ensuring the secure, reliable and efficient delivery of desktop, laptop, tablet and peripheral services across clinical and corporate environments. The post holder will manage the deployment, configuration and lifecycle of endpoint devices, operating systems and applications, while supporting the Trust's adoption of modern workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and cloud-based device management.

Working as part of the Digital Infrastructure team, the post holder will provide technical expertise in endpoint management, software deployment, cyber security and configuration management, using technologies such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Active Directory and Group Policy. The role will contribute to digital transformation projects, support service improvements and work collaboratively with colleagues, managed service partners and third-party suppliers to ensure endpoint services remain secure, resilient and aligned with the Trust's digital strategy.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for supporting and developing the Trust's endpoint infrastructure, ensuring that desktop, laptop, tablet and peripheral devices are deployed, maintained and managed effectively across the organisation. They will provide expert technical support for endpoint technologies, operating systems and applications, contributing to the delivery of secure, reliable and modern digital services.

Working closely with colleagues, suppliers and managed service partners, the post holder will lead on device configuration, software deployment, operating system upgrades, endpoint management, cyber security and configuration management. They will also contribute to infrastructure improvement projects, champion best practice, maintain technical documentation and support the continuous development of the Trust's digital workplace.
