We pride ourselves on being a friendly and supportive team offering a range of opportunities for development in specialities including oncology, stroke, renal, surgery, paediatrics and community dietetics. We provide placement supervision to student dietitians. Due to internal development into speciality roles, we have an opportunity for band 5 dietitians or students approaching qualification to gain experience across a range of specialities in a busy acute dietetic department. The rotational posts offer experience in general medicine, respiratory, stroke and oncology inpatient settings along with a regular outpatient clinic. You will be supported by senior staff and other band 5 staff working in our friendly team. Your will gain further valuable experience in multi disciplinary working via the Portsmouth Hospitals preceptorship scheme.
