### We are looking to recruit dynamic and well-motivated Health Care Support Worker

### (HCSW) with good communication and IT skills, a passion for working with people and an interest in food and nutrition.

### You will be part of our small, friendly team of Community Dietitians based at Aberdeen Health and Care Village.  The HCSWs support the dietitians in delivering services to adults living in their own home, care homes or out-patient and virtual (telephone and NearMe) clinic settings across Aberdeenshire.

### As well as patient facing work this role involves a significant amount of computer based activity to support the running of the dietetic service.  This includes using systems such as TrakCare used for documenting patient records and admin tasks associated with managing the waiting lists, as well as data collection and communication with others.  The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills including Outlook and Microsoft packages such as email, excel, word, powerpoint and healthcare systems such as Trak and NearMe, for example.

### This post may be suitable for hybrid working with time in the office base and home working.

### We provide training to others in the role of nutrition, rehabilitation and well-being, and part of your role may be in assisting in the delivery of training and education.

The service is already an employer of Dietetic HCSW and we have excellent systems in place for joint continuous professional development and peer support.

We participate in undergraduate student training 10 – 12 per year and our HCSW play an active part in helping students achieve their learning outcomes and providing high quality placements for our students.

For AHP posts within Grampian, there is a requirement to provide services flexibly to meet the needs of service users. This may include providing services over weekends and extended hours if necessary for the service.

Must be car owner and hold a full driving licence.
