### Job overview

We are looking for a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our forward thinking  dietetic team.

You will be involved in  providing part of the Dietetic Service within the acute hospital setting with a variety of inpatients on various wards.

You will be provided with regular supervision and CPD opportunities in order to develop your clinical skills.  We are committed to improving our patient experience and clinical pathways and there will be opportunities to be involved with both current and new projects within the team.

Good communication skills both written and verbal are required to undertake various tasks regarding admin duties.

### Main duties of the job

- Responsible for a patient caseload under the supervision of a Registered dietitian
- Liaise with members of the MDT regarding the nutritional care of patients on your caseload
- You will have admin role to track patients within the oncology pathway who are under the dietitian.
- Involve in updating spreadsheets

If we have a large number of applicants the post might close earlier.

- Foundation degree (Nutrition Related) or equivalent Diploma/ NVQ 3 plus level
